The logistics of planning your big day can be overwhelming and stressful. Wedding planning could be a daunting task and you need all the help you can get. We are sharing some helpful planning tips to help make your wedding planning process more fun.

Here are five ways to make event planning less stressful. Enjoy!

Be Realistic

Setting realistic expectations is a must when planning your wedding. You must be realistic with the timing, size of the wedding, budget and how much you can handle on your own.

Hire a professional

You will hear this over and over. Hire a professional!. Wedding planners are your friend. Meet with wedding consultants, find a good fit and hire someone. It will be well worth it. Planners have vast experience with wedding planning and can prevent you from making costly mistakes and you get to actually enjoy the planning process and your wedding day. Same goes for cake, entertainment and all aspects of your wedding. Trust the professionals to help put evertyhing in place.

Pre-Stamp your response envelopes

The invitation process can be stressful. Make it easy for your guests and yourself  when sending out your invitations by pre-stamping the RSVP envelope.  This will ensure they get back to you. Including the postage will speed up the rsvp process.

Take some time off

Make sure you take some time off wedding planning at least once a week. Take some time to do non-wedding activities like a date with your girls or guys, date night with your fiance, a yoga class, a night out or even some couch time with movies and some wine. No wedding talk. A day off will not hurt.
